It was a long winter without much progress but in the last few weeks things have really come together.

Big thanks to 'Dangerous' Chris Carlson and Polara Pat for all their help.

Managed to get the motor off the stand and into the car. Just had our Muffler guy, Mode, put the exhaust system together and now there is some fine tuning to be done. Now to tackle the body work......

I love the cross ram sandwich tray. I have so much engine envy it's ridiculous. It's been fun building it vicariously through and look forward to our two wagons battling it out at the track.
 
wow that looks like great work you are doing there! what are the specs on the engine and what HP do you think it will have?

Glad to hear that it's starting to loosen up a bit. Now break in those rings and lets get driving!!
 
Hey guys,
A giant congratulations to you for your progress. keep us posted on future progress. I am doing a 63 polara right now in a similiar fashion.
I met the "Wagons of steel" guys two years ago at a NHRA race in Phoenix and they are "good guys'.
