Does anyone make scoop screens?

You could probably fab one up, no one I know offers an off the shelf kit or anything. I don’t know if I’d bother though as it would maybe just keep small birds and rocks out, which the likely hood of you encountering either would probably be slim?

Did a six pack hood on my belvedere, helped keep things cooler, looked cool, but certainly made the engine compartment dirty most of the time.

Interesting comment on the dirt observation.
BTW, I can't decide which wheel package I like better.

I have home screen door screen in front of the radiator/A/C condenser on all of my cars. That includes my '21 Ram and '15 Chrysler 200. It is absolutely unbelievable what the screen catches. This item is worth the trouble. May be the reason some people have cooling problems, their radiators are plugged up with bugs and debris. Not going there on the scoop on the Charger.

Me too. Screen in front of condenser. Clean.

Good point on the radiator. I use a somewhat coarse SS screen mainly for rock/debris protection of the radiator.

I had a bird get exploded on my driver's side outside mirror on my COE semi tractor.
Unfortunately, I had my window down, and got a face full of feathers, AND found its remaining carcass in the sleeper a week later.:BangHead:

Oh man, 37 years truck driver. The worst damage was hitting a wild turkey. I was mt, hit the brakes at 65 mph. That was my mistake, it gave the turkey time to get in front of me. He would have had no forward speed, just jumped up starting to fly. He would have hurt nothing flying into the side of the hood. So, grill, tilt hood and turbo intercooler. Sorry, this is about hood scoop screens.

I hit a turkey with my company truck and broke the plastic grill. I was passing a slower vehicle when it happened and had no room to maneuver. All I could see in my mirrors was feathers!

Maybe we should be thinking cow catcher's ala trains instead of screens you say?
