drilling air bleeds on a holley 750 vacum secondary carb

drilled the bleeds, and it definitely cleaned up the wot.car runs better at cruise and off the line.still a little rich at idle, gonna work on that today and see if i can clean it up a bit.im glad i drilled them out to what i was told, it helped me a bunch.

soo, after crusing with the car today,i decided to work on the pvcr,s.they were .o36, and i ended up drilling them to .050.that is as far as i went, and it also made a big difference.i also opened up the secondarys a little to clean up the idle , and it worked, but my idle is about 950 rpm in neutral. it helps with oil pressure at idle in gear, so im gonna leave it like that.next will be bigger exhaust!!!

went to the drag strip today.good news is the car picked up 2/10 in the 1/8 .bad news is i ate some rear end gears.looking for some 3.55 but i do have a set of 2.76 to use for now.anyone close to nh ?

huh , i figured some one would comment on this by now.unless you are all out drilling your air bleeds or something?

2/10s is a big improvement especially in the 1/8th. I hope you find another gear set soon so you can keep on testing!

me too, i talked with my buddy, and he said with the weight of the car and et in the 1/8 it equates to 40 hp.not bad for an hours worth of work.he said if i could find some 3.91 gears i would be in the low 8,s .guess what im looking for, lol. for now, im gonna put a set of 2.76 in and it will have to do until i find some 3.91.i see some long single track burnouts in the near future.
