There is a driveshaft critical speed calculator on wallace racing calculators. Basically, longer, smaller, = weaker.
Ive seen more than a few "oops" on chassis dynos, including a few "driveshaft disassemble's."
It easier to reach critical driveshaft speed on a dyno, cause your not fighting 150mph worth a aero drag. A speed your car might never reach on a highway might be reachable on a chassis dyno.
