Good evening !
Extensive Carchaelogical excavations in my garage brought up a driveshaft of unclear origin. Extensive research, measuring, calculation andconsultations of Mr G‘s white booklets suggest it might be part # 2883690 or 3578690 as it is 44,99 long, 3.0 diameter and has the 7260 yoke. According to the booklet, it was in a 73 340 auto or 70-73 340 auto Valiant or Dart.
I am considering to sell the piece.
Question: is that something appreciated, maybe worth being send over to the US or just another driveshaft…? Sometimes things are more liked in the States than over here in Europe…!
Thanks for the input !

It will have value for the right buyer
Someone that needs a stock driveshaft for a full restoration
someone that is putting more horsepower into their engine would be better off putting the money aside to spend on having a new driveshaft built
especially when you consdier the cost of shipping from the UK to the US

I twisted my stock driveshaft and the results were not pretty
The cost of a custom driveshaft was not that great and I got to upgrade to larger U-Joints
No more stock driveshafts with a modified engine for me

Thank you very much….I believe it came out of a 70 Challenger R/T 383 auto I owned, prior to a divorce…..
Maybe some XXL luggage once we are allowed back into the US…!
Thanks, appreciated !
