I agree drivability is going to better with the pro flo but some of that is EFI.
Dual plane or single plane - Carb vs tbi - the carb will have more max power every time, that's well documented.
I'm would like to see if anyone has done A to B comparison: ie; ran a pro flo or single plane and then installed the pro flo XT on the same base engine, heads, cam ect.
Edelbrock has a video on youtube with a lot of music and numbers with no specs and a wonky torque curve.
