Actually running a 451 stroker (400 block 440 crank and 400 rods) Edelbrock performer rpm intake and heads into a Dodge Charger 1967
I'm planning to install roller cam Edelbrock 2206, I check the cam card: Duration (240 / 248 @ .050) Valve lift (.540' / .545) Lobe Seps 112 ICL 107
Any suggestion may too much cam for street and occasional strip.
Thanks

A lot about this cam is what equipment do you have backing it up? Proper stall? Enough gear ratio? And tire? Which should compliment the cars weight.

Another thing, this cam is designed to deliver a smooth idle and good general driving characteristics. It's not a bad choice for many who do not understand cams. Choosing this cam is much like the Staples commercial, by pressing the EZ button.

Looks good if you have a stall converter, 3000 rpm stall should work with 3.55 gears or better. JMO!

As per your recommendations, I must find a milder cam...
With 2400 stall and 3.23 gears in a Charger 1967 with power brakes...
May be the Comp Cams 23-710 will be a better choice with (.224 / .230 @ .050) (.538 / .534 lift) (110 lobe sep angle).

I run the small block version of that cam in the wife's '67 Cuda/360/904/323/26inch tire. 2500 stall.
Very good combo. It would like 3.55's better. Excellent street cam, nice power.
