Getting my stock 74 400 cast iron intake ready for install. I am using two gaskets and a piece of aluminum flashing to permanently block the original EGR and puting back on the manifold to look original, using the Fel-Pro 1214 valley pan with Exhaust block offs. Is there any reason to fart with the floor jets, or just leave them alone?

I used the regular valley pan on mine and sorry I did. All that paint by the choke and opposite side on mine is gone. I have recently found that Summit has a pan that already has those blocked off. I am not pulling the intake right away but when I do, that is what I will replace it with.
