Hello all,

Slowly making some good progress on reassembling my long torn-apart '63 Polara (thanks in large part to this forum and it's members) and am searching around to ID two brackets that were mixed in with the hardware for the stiffening plate that mounts behind the brake booster.

One of them appears to belong on the stud that passes through the upper center of the plate in order to guide wiring from the bulkhead junction connector. The other bracket is still a mystery to me.

Any help in getting this car closer to 440 glory will be appreciated.

On my ‘66 there is a similar bracket that attaches to the top of brake booster backing plate and is used for the wiring to go over the booster. Looks like that’s the bracket on the stud, though mine is slightly different. Perhaps someone with an earlier year can ID the other bracket

You sure its for your car?

It sure looks like the ac line bracket for a 1969
