Factory Mufflers

I'm sure that this has been asked, but I could not find anything through the search engine.

Need to know the overall length of the factory mufflers for a 71 Plymouth Roadrunner. Looking to install Flow Masters. I have a NOS set of head pipes that I'm going to use, but I have heard that the Flow Masters will be too short and I'll have weld on an extension to the front side of the muffler.

pretty sure factories had a 21" long case.

You might check out DynoMax Super Turbo mufflers, these are the ones that TTI includes with their setups, http://www.dynomax.com/super-turbo-centered-offset-593.html, but there are others available.

Thanks for the feedback so if the case is 21" I'm guessing the overall length will be in the 27" range
