It was a multi step process. Easy summation the body got dipped in phosphate then the last dip was up to slightly above the level of the heater hose holes with a washable dip primer, exterior outer panels dip primer were washed off, red epoxy applied and paint. There are more steps but that's the cliff notes version.Ok so I know my 70 bee wasn't originally black and the color under it is a lime green. But under the green is like a redish doo-doo brown color. I can't seem to find any grey primer so did dodge use a red primer? It's a misouri assembled car I think.
