Fan Clutch

Hi All. What is the difference between AC vs Non-AC fan clutch? I also noticed "Centrifugal" vs "Thermostatic". Thanks for your input!

The centrifugal clutch rotates slower than the pulley. The thermal has a bi-metallic spring in front which adjusts the rotation based on temperature.

Which clutch is preffered for a street car? 383/4speed. No AC.

there are different actuation points for AC and non ac some years
My 92 Dakota V8 185 vs 195
there are standard and reverse rotation- the dakota is backward with serpentine belt
there are standard and Heavy Duty clutches
I run the 9 blade fan HD clutch for towing
AC actually needs the clutch working more so in traffic stop and go than the radiator
you can actually see the AC output difference in temp when there is air coming through the condensor
Run a valance
plug all holes in the core support
run as wide a radiator as will fit and a shroud
