Nicole Kidman movie was 'The Others.' Was a rip of a British movie from the 80s or 90s.
Myself, I love all 3 original Evil Deads, fright night (more because they used to play them at the 'midnights'). Heavy Metal, which I would call a bizarre cartoon horror flick.

I love the old Heavy Metal movie... when I lived in Anchorage, I watched it probably twice a month in the winters, we would have a bunch of my buddies over & party hardy...

Any movie with Julia Roberts in it sends a shiver up my spine & makes me run out the room screaming.

Except maybe "Pretty Woman" was tolerable, after that she just sucked....

I happened to catch an old B&W movie on Retro TV last night called "Horrors on Spider Island". One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I won't punish you by providing a link to this bomb of a so called movie. It's a horror movie because almost everything about the movie is horrible. The only thing that makes this stinker worth watching are the 50s pin-up style "actresses" running around the island in bikinis and wrestling on the floor. Maybe that's why I couldn't bring myself to change channels. The entire thing is on youtube if you can stand it.

For horrible movies, one of my favorites is Mystery Science Theatre 3000's take on Touch of Satan. Excuse me while I puke in the maverick....

Truth be told..."Evil Dead" kind of ruined me from the horror/gore genre.

I like a good dose of humor (and smarts) in my horror movies, and that had the perfect mix.

Prior to that I was a pretty big fan, but since, nothing compares.

I'll watch Evil Dead (esp the second version) ANY TIME, but I really have no interest anymore for anything similar.
