Nope, I believed it to be and it was from Joey as I received it by a PM through this site, and then a direct email to my email account. He does this on occasion, so it just might be authentic!!! Yet after the subsequent posts showing the message, it just might be a spam/spoof but it sure does look authentic except for the word, "TOO." I just deleted it as I have no need for a Gold Membership!!! Despite what others keep promoting on here...cr8crshr/Bill :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:

How so??? Ads??? Maybe. For sale postings??? Maybe. Maybe some other areas but at 50.00, I am not at all going to pay out for what I have the ability to control myself. But you and those who are promting this, y'all go right ahaed...:usflag::usflag::usflag:
 
I received the same gold membership PM.
I do not come here as often because the aggressive ads block 90% of screen.
I clear cookies (blah blah blah)
Recently the ads have gotten even worse?

FBBO was VERY user friendly when I first got here.
Now I find the site to be almost unusable.
If you click the arrow to remove ad it almost always loads ad…….
FBBO gives the AD virus then offers the vaccine for a price……..
 
I have a gold membership. $50.00 is cheap, for the amount of time I spend on site each month. You have to remember maintaining the site cost money. So either they have to sell add space, or collect money from subscriptions. Other wise the site will go away. It's just basic business. So if you enjoy the site support it.
 
These pop up ads are going to turn away a lot of new members from the site. I would gladly reup my gold status,but they will not accept a money order payment.

Chrome browser on my laptop, tons of ads on fbbo.

Duckduckgo browser on the same laptop...no ads on fbbo.

Just sayin'
