FBO Ignition

RT,
Very annoying & feel your pain [ and the $$$$ ]. I doubt that dent will affect the operation of the coil, not that that makes it ok. What module are you using.
The dents didn't affect the coils operation but i paid good dollars for it and to be brushed off as it's normal to buy a new coil with dents on it.The last flame thrower i purchased for my Monaro came in a box i found it strange that it was loose and to throw a coil and module in a plastic bag together half way across the world is madness.I'm using my original one from Rick Ehrenburg's Hirev 7500 & hasn't miss a beat since

I read it. How was the module damaged in shipping?
Im with ya....nobody likes a raw deal, but my statement stands.....5 months is too long to try it out and see if it works....there are other possibilities beyond their control. Its not really their fault you are on the other side of the world and shipping costs a fortune.

If they believe your stuff got ruined in shipping, they should send you replacements....why would they want the damaged merch back?? They actually don't care they have their money

I bought that same coil individually from Amazon and it came packaged in it's own proper box. For FBO to ship it without even including the original Pertronix box--which isn't great protection but better than a bag--is ridiculously stupid.
