What is the correct size for the bolts to attach the fenders? It's for a 63 Sport Fury. On ebay I see M5's, M6's, 5/16 hex, 7/16 hex...
Don't ask where the originals are, somewhere between me and the body shop

5/16" x 3/4" or 1" with attached flat washers. Or buy the button head allen screws in SS for a dressy look and no paint chipping by the wrench.
I have been using thin plastic washers under the flats to avoid scarring up the fender paint. Get or make them no larger than the steel flat washer OD and no one will know.

Hummmm, going to try the SS route, thanks

5/16-18 (coarse) thread. I know that they are supposed to be body color, but since there isn't anything stock about one of my cars. I kind of like the extra detail of not being body color on this car.
