The owner says it’s a sure grip but from this it looks likes it’s an open rear??

White bumble bee stripe.
Scheduled build date, October 22. 1968 (Dec. would be c22)
593 would be the rear axle assy code. But my book for decoding lynch road tags is 200 miles away.

Am I mistaken?

The 926 indicates a 335 horse, orange, auto trans, non air 383. The 093 is last three digits of part# of your trans, probably standard duty 727. If my book was here, i could tell you what 593 means, but it isnt. Guess? Open 3.23 There are guys here that will KNOW!

On 1969 Lynch Road Tags, the "V" on the stripe/vinyl top codes isn't there. So V1X, meaning black vinyl top, would look like 1X. 8W would mean White Transverse Stripe
