Nearly every year is different for code placement on tags so it depends on where the TX9 is located.

You thought it was a 1967 which the sales codes are completely different also.

You know this car is a 1970 model from the partial V.I.N. on the tag with the sixth digit being a 0 for 1970.

You have a lot to learn about fender tag decoding before offering comments without a disclaimer of "I think" grasshopper.:icon_eyes:

I am not an expert, nor do I pretend to be. :icon_axe:

But my car made a 650 mile trip without incident, so I am happy.:headbang:

Except the G70 code is really 670 meaning automatic transmission behind a 440. ;)
