You cut open the area and re-glass the nuts back in right then glass up the access hole you cut. I haven't done a lot of glass work but what little I've done has been fairly easy. It's just a bit messy....I have a AAR fiberglass hood for my 71 runner, not bad, the part i didn't like is where the hinge bolts to, the nuts in the hood were glassed in crooked on the one side, and sometimes i'm afraid I'll overtighten the bolts too much and break them off inside the hood, what do you do then?
