I saw a 2.5 ton, foldaway, engine hoist on Craigslist and snagged it for $100, and that's with a new ram on it. :) Time to start pulling some engines!

I got one of those a few months ago, but the problem was to use it I have to empty the garage out and respot the vehicles in the driveway, which is why I decided to go ahead and get a hoist. That way I can wheel the hoist to the car and get stuff in and out easier.
 
If your friends find out you have the folding version, you may become real popular!

i just bought the collapsible 2t from hf.
 
Nice! I got same on CL for 125 4 years ago, so nice to have one, but mines just collecting dust in the basement now!
