Want to rebuild the front end with the polygraphite kit from PST like I did to a second gen Nova back in school. Any Mopar particular warnings before I snap something?

Welcome to the site!

I have a 70 Road Runner too. I completely rebuilt the front end , although I used a combination of polygraphite and regular rubber. Make sure you grease stuff well.

For excellent handling, I also recommend a firm feel steering box. This made a BIG difference in how my car handled, and it was some of the best money I spent - highly recommended.

Lots of guys (and gals) have posted about their restorations and/or their front end builds. Do a search for them and read - lots of good advice! Best of luck!

You started witha good one , like the 70 the best. I've had mine going for about 5 years and have really enjoyed it. I just used all Moog parts on mine from NAPA just like my Swinger back 16 years ago and it has all been good. Good Luck on your car

Looking to start turning the first wrenches this coming weekend. I've been all over the web - and at a loss to find the stock sway bar size. Planning to order a polygraphite kit and get it in yet this month, but hung up here: to upgrade the OEM sway bar or no. Can someone tell me what size sway bar they come with from the factory in 1970?
 
Welcome !! nice car. i have a 70 RR too. put in a Steer and Gear Stage 2 box this past summer. very happy with it.

The stock 70 bar goes through the K member. If you get one much larger, then it will sit outside the K member. That's OK, depending on what you want and how original looking you want to keep the car.
