Installed a new Firecore electronic distributor in Buzzbee today. What a difference!! Old distributor was ok under light load or slowly increasing to cruising speed. Any moderate to heavy throttle or higher rpm cruising it would start to miss and generally run poorly.

With this new distributor, got into it pretty hard and it zinged right up to about 5000 rpm with no sign of a miss. Wow!! Like a new car!!

I have had a Firecore distributor in my 383 for over 5 years now, and love it. Very well built. It replaced a Mopar Performance distributor that came with the electronic ignition conversion kit I had installed log ago when I converted from points. That distributor lasted like 2 years and became erratic and developed slop in the shaft. Very poor construction I'm my opinion. You can't go wrong with a Firecore.

Nice to hear that some of the current Mopar after-market parts are road worthy..
We hear too much bad news about the off-shore sourced stuff that fails prematurely..

Just my $0.02...

100 percent.

I have Firecore Ignition wires....the best I have ever had on any vehicle.

They withstand the heat better than any others I have seen.

I really like Firecore distributors as well. Been running them for many years.

This was a while back, but when I first got my Firecore 50 wires from Rick, I smeared them with WD40 and hand rubbed the Firecore logos off to make them look somewhat stock.
When Rick saw my engine compartment, he immediately thought that something was wrong with his wires and I had switched to another brand. I told him: Look at the underside of my trunk lid. There in plain site was his Firecore decal amongst only a few others. Wink, wink.
