Car is a 1971 Plymouth Satellite with a 904 transmission and a new 340 motor. Sounds like I cracked my flexplate. Is there a way to replace it without pulling the motor? If there enough room to push transmission back and get to it?

Yes and it's much easier to just slide the transmission back. I suggest you lift the whole car up in the air (way up) get a transmission jack adapter (autozone) and leave the transmission on the jack when you pull it back, replace flexplate and put transmission back in.

The factory flex plates were good but, have you beefed up that 904? How much power is your 340 making?

It's all stock except cam, intake, and carb performance wise so it can't be that much.

Thanks for the replies. I just ordered the B&M so I'll try the move the transmission thing out.
