Friend needed to pay rent

So, an old friend called and asked me if I could loan her $400 to help her pay her rent. I told her...give me a minute let me check my account and I'll call you right back." She must have forgotten she already owes me money that she hasn't paid back yet. But before I could check my funds, my good friend called and said, "Don’t give her any money because she's lying, My friend proceeded to tell me that my “old friend” wants to use that $400 to get her boyfriend out of jail because she wants to be under the same roof with him for the holidays!!!
So, despite the warning, I thought about it for a minute and decided to go ahead and give her the $400. It's the holidays and I'm in the spirit.
I called and said, "Come on, I got you." Can you believe, a couple hours later, I got a call from the County Jail, and it was her.
Q: Why did you give me counterfeit money?!"
A: So that you and your boyfriend would be under the same roof for the holidays. You're welcome!

Had some fake money passed at my store... I called the local PD, and they said “we don’t enforce counterfeit money chrimes, call the secret service”.

I called the secret service, and they said, “we aren’t going to investigate a $100 bill... too small to worry about”

I replied, “how much makes it worth it?”

He said they “wouldn’t even open an investigation unless we are talking $250,000 plus.”

So there ya go kids, pass under a quarter mil in counterfeit money, and they won’t even look at you.
