Couldn't open the attachment, is it pics of the bar installed on your car ?
Here are a couple. Will try for better ones later.

Hellwig on the way ! Hopefully it'll be here by the weekend.

Thanks for the help
No problem. Their instructions will say to use a 17/32 drill bit. I couldn't find a titanium one anywhere and they said 9/16 is fine. Also, the one tricky part is getting the top nut started on the long bolt that connects the sway arm to the mounting plate. With all of the washers and bushings, you can't get a thread high enough to start it. I put a small jack underneath the bolt head and jacked it up a little. That pushes the arm and bolt up and exposes enough thread to get it started.

I'm sure the FirmFeel is a great unit, but it's almost double the cost of the Addco, or Hellwig unit. This is just a street/daily car, and a rusted POS at that. Trying to limit being upside down in it.

Then you need to re-think things. These cars and parts are NOT cheap. If you're looking at the cheapest way possible, without headaches with parts, then sell the car and go Chinese/Japanese route.

Why are you getting butt-hurt just because i didn't buy the parts you did for YOUR car ? It's my car, i can build it the way it want. You build yours, and i'll build mine, and i won't try to belittle you for it.

Hellwigg arrived today ! Dang that was fast. Summit to the rescue.
Installed it tonite with little trouble other than some brief struggles getting the bar thru the K member. Would be nice if the instructions gave more info on that process. Like- insert bar from the front of car, and install with the bend of the ends pointing down. Anyway, the cheap parts fit nicely and the install was easy. Thanks for the tips JG1966

Do the instructions recommend a little welding to reinforce the bolted on brackets? Would not be a bad idea (if one knew how to weld-I don't).

They do not, and i assume it is not needed as this is exactly how the factory bar mounts. AFAIK

I thought the factory welded the brackets on. I think they did on my '65 Barracuda Formula S, but it's in the shop now, can't check it out until later.

I imagine they they did too. The bolt that holds it is 9/16 and the bracket is super thick, probably 3/8" thick.

The sway bar design changed for 1970. The brackets all bolted on from this point forward, no welded sway bar brackets. I replaced mine with aluminum plates I made myself.

If you don't understand the post, it's on you, not me. No, I'm not "butt-hurt" but it sure does amazes me when members come on here, ask for recommendations/advice. It's when these members takes a total different route, then come back on here and give a sobbing story about either price, delivery, fitment, something. Yes, it's your car just as is mine. Then don't come on here and expect a tissue or something when things don't go the way you or anyone wanted. Glad you got what you need, finally

Jezus man, you really are something else. Saying i don't understand your post. SMH FU pal.
And how do you figure i took a total different route ? I just didn't take your route of spending **** tons of money redesigning the front end of my car just to have a sway bar. SO WHAT ! Another member mentioned the Helwig bar and it fit the bill. I didn't come back on to give a "sobbing story" just shared my frustrating experience with Addco. (maybe that would help the next guy reading this post and wanting one- afterall, that's the point of this forum) You telling me someone couldn't have an issue with delivery or fitment of your precious FirmFeel stuff ? The rest of that post was about how quickly i was able to get the Helwig (next day !) and it was on and done with no issues. Sounds like a pretty positive post to me. Funny how you're the only one in this thread with an issue.

And a RED X right back 'atcha
How about you stay off my posts.
Please and Thank you.
