Front tire size on a 62 Savoy??

Hi guys, I'm thinking of changing out my front skinny's for a slightly wider and taller tire? The tires on the front now are only 25 inches tall and I was thinking of possibly using up to a 29 inch tall tire?? any suggestions or anyone know if that tall of a tire will fit???:blob1:

29s are real close.

I'm running a 7.60 x 15 which when mounted measures 28 and some change. As you can see it is real close to the front fender well.

I believe my front tires on my 63 are are 215/70R-15's as I use a 15 x 6 Torque Thrust wheel. I drive my 63 alot on the street so thats one reason I went with a street radial tire. I will double check the size tomorrow when I go out to the garage. Ron

WOW! That is close to the front, R U running 15x6 inch wide steel rims on the front??
P.S. NICE lookin ride, one of those is going to be my next project for sure.
