Fruit Cakes 2019

So this year I've had a lot of **** going on and I forgot all about the Fruitcake.
I have to go on-line and order some! Thanks for the reminder everyone!

Many, many moons ago, a coworker sent a fruit cake to another coworker for Christmas. He got it back the next year. That cake went back and forth for at least 10 years. If they are both still alive, I suspect it is enroute to one or the other right now.

Personally, I won't touch the stuff.

I just notice the expiration date... Are you sure it shouldn't be 05-06-2120? I heard they are edible forever!

I don't pay attention to expiration dates, I just look for the tel-tale green tint!

Dam ! this is the first year in many that I did not have wifey to get one. I got tired of the one I had last year( wifey won't help eat it) Put the other 1/2 in the freezer, ate it this past summer, It was even better. You guys made me sorry I don't have one this Christmas. I like the ones with the candied fruit and nuts in them............MO
