Hello,

I am new to electric fuel pumps and this is the setup that came with my car.

Does the filter housing screw on/off like an oil filter?
Any idea what filter or filters would go in the housing?
What would I need to do to prime the system after changing the filter?

I just want to get some facts before I start disassembly (or in my case break stuff).

Thank you

Can't really see. My pictured one has bolt on top.

Looks about the same as what Fran has pictured. Should have the filer number on it somewhere I think. I use a very similar Fram filter. Just shut off fuel and change the filter. Turn fuel on again. Finished! ruffcut

A filter that size I would question if it even needs to be changed.
Unless your tank has serious issues.
