The service manual list 2 different type of fuel pumps for a 383. The Carter MS-4589S and the Airtex RD-267A. Both have the same pump pressure. Are there 2 different models for a 2bbl and 4bbl. Looking for the correct one for a 69 Super Bee with a 383.

Without looking at specifics, I'd look at drive arm length and fitting size and configuration. I just replaced mine and there were options with fittings.

1969 - 1971 383 and 440 -- ALL -- except the 440 - 6 pack use the M4589 Carter which has two 5/16" hose lines at a 180 degree for the inlet & outlet....

1964 - 1968 383 and 440 -- ALL -- except the 440 - 6 pack use the M3672 Carter
which has a 5/16" Inverted Flare Fitting on the inlet and 5/16" hose outlet on the same side.....

Those are off the top of my head -- but I know them DEFINITIVELY -- I have the interchanges to cross them to an Airtex # -- if you so desire.....
