Going nuts over acorn center caps!

I have just purchased a 72 Charger Rallye. It has a mixture of center caps on it. I have never seen the knockout type. 3 out of 4 on the car. 14 inch only? Later caps? I have seen them on a number of sites. Anybodys opinion- facts welcome! Thank you, Mark

Later caps, 72 did not have the knockouts.

72 were solid I believe.

I believe the ones with the removable center started in 75 or 76.

started in 75 or 76.

Bought a new 75 Dodge Charger,rallye wheels with knock out centers
Even the spare was a rallye with a center knock out cap removed but in the trunk.
