Ok here is the deal.. I know I can do this but just read somewhere that I need a Carb that is made to handle E85. Has anyone tried E85 yet?
I have a Demon 4bb 750cfm carb, racing fuel pump Edelbrock intake on my 72 RR 440 Magnum... What do I need to fill E85? Any help will be appreciated.

My other question, where do you guys get your headers from and what is a good one for my 72 RR?

And umm.. what kind of Fuel Filter are you guys using? Also, if you have pictures, that will be great..

Thanks :)

You'll have to change your rubber fuel lies to some made for E85 use. You'll have to verify your pump is ok for E85, and I think Edelbrock makes an E85 carb. Probably Holley too

Go up on the E-85 carbs web site, they sell conversion kits or better yet they will convert your carb. From what I have seen AED makes a good off-the shelf E85 carb, both 4150s and 4500 Holleys. They are plated with what looks like brite zinc. Like 69 runner said all rubber lines need to be relaced. You will use about 30% more fuel so your fuel delivery system need to be up to snuff. The guys i know running it use a 3way regulator with a return line for fuel. You also have to check the quality of fuel from the pump, they allow up to an 13% variation in fuel content ( in NY state). The E85 does suck up water so you have to be real careful how you store it, and it very corrosive. you should check out the race E85 web site as they have a lot more info than i can give you. Good luck, keep us posted.

Why would you want to put that crap in your car? Is that the only thing available?
