Hello all, I am excited to join another forum, this time for a B-body. I just landed my first B-body since my 69 Road Runner back in the early 70's. I've had A-bodies for years and have been a member of FABO for a long time. For now there are no a-bodies in my stable but I still have many friends over there. Also a member of FEBO and Cuda-Challenger, I am guessing this forum is full of great guys & gals also. After all, you must all be Mopar lovers right?
I just bought a car with the intent of flipping it but everyday since I've bought it I've fallen more and more in love with it and now think that it deserves a complete resto and will stay with us for a long time. It's a 1970 Coronet 500. I've learned that it is one of eighteen, it's a numbers matching 383 4 speed convertible. It has bucket seats and a console and is B5 blue with a white top and interior. It shows 49,000 miles. That's all of the good news, the bad news is that it is in boxes. It came on a resto dolly and is half sandblasted already. I transferred it to my rotisserie and will soon send it to media blast to get the rest done. Then it will have to get in line behind two other cars that are being restored (both barracudas) although it may jump one of them and the other is nearly finished being blocked for paint.
I've post a few pictures, sorry for the orientation, they were all upright on my computer before I uploaded them.
