I bought a Carter AVS for Baby Blue from a Ford guy at the fall Carlisle a few years back. Correct date code NOS piece, paid $200.Maybe some of the Ford/Chevy sites have car guys with older Mopar components looking to dump not understanding the value? Umm. I mean they already proved poor decision trends?
Much simpler than that.. I like em all.....Maybe some of the Ford/Chevy sites have car guys with older Mopar components looking to dump not understanding the value? Umm. I mean they already proved poor decision trends?
According to the picture in this ad, Ford wants their new truck to appeal to hippy chicks and long haired freaky dudes.

This load doesn't look good....

I beg to differ. I was 106,000 LBS and I pulled it up U.S. 160 from Colorado to New Mexico, otherwise know as Wolf Creek Pass.they certainly don't build trucks to use as a truck anymore.
Which is up on the great divide, truckin on down the other side. Love that song! At least you weren’t hauling chickens.I beg to differ. I was 106,000 LBS and I pulled it up U.S. 160 from Colorado to New Mexico, otherwise know as Wolf Creek Pass.

You rode a bicycle up wolf creek pass?Great pics!
I was there in 2013 for 'Ride the Rockies', 7 days of brutal but beautiful riding (***-powered, not gas powered!) Day 4 went from Pagosa Springs to Alamosa.
Yep up and over!
Some folks can tear up an anvil with a rubber hammer.
I was drinking a beer and eating shrimp a while back at a "homecourt" restaurant/bar a while back... While I was enjoying life in an air conditioned environment, on TV was some sort of long distance bike race... Made me so tired just watching it, I had to take a nap when I got home....Yep up and over!
Lizard's Head Pass (Telluride to Cortez) was the first day, that one had me saying WTF did I get myself into here..
I don’t know. This kind of looks photo shopped to me. The color is slightly off and the lower body line follows the cab. If the frame was buckled that bad and the body line from the front to the back of the bed varied that much then the bed side would be buckled.
That was what I thought too..they had to hit it hard.I'd almost bet 'the driver of the loader'
dumped a bucket from 8' that load into that trailer tongue area too
not eased it in, it's shock loading it,
that trailer is probably overloaded for it's axles too
(2200#'s per yard of dirt, a big bucket load 3 yards of dirt is 6600#'s appr.)
that's probably 8-10+ yards min. in that trailer
possibly have that is the bed floor lifting too
may have just a bumper & ball
adds leverage on the rear of the bed
& not a real trailer receiver hitch
& not spreading the load over the rear of the frame properly
I'm sure it was negligence or abuse & not the Ram's fault
Possibly or probably, some rust especially if they live in the north
& they use salt or a previously weakened frame,
from overloading &/or lifting (jacking) it improperly many times before
no doubt too
not knowing the back story hard to speculate, actually exactly why
it ain't 1977 & that Ram/it Ain't a good ol' Dodge Power Wagon either
