Got this off a Ford site

Toyota did have a frame recall in the mid 2000's due to rust and failure.
A dealership on Rt 51 in Pittsburgh Pa has hundreds of frames delivered stacked up out front.
I think they were distributing to the surrounding dealers.
Those are great trucks to get used if you need a light truck. Just like with the cars, it’s good for them to be taken apart and put back together again. Of course a new rust free frame doesn’t hurt either. Sort of like a partial restoration on a 7 year old truck. I’ve seen those stacks of frames too. Must have been a boatload of work at the dealer!
