My mom, Haldis, she's the one from Norway, is a machine. At 92 years old she lives in a big house at the ranch and keeps it spotless. Now she has determined she going to sand and restain her two redwood decks. She drug me all over town getting the stain she liked and now she's going for it. She has one deck all sanded down and is halfway done with the other. She says the staining will be the easy part. I don't know how in the hell she got her patio furniture inside. I'd help if she wanted but hasn't mentioned it. She says she likes to work. Being born in 1930 she's a member of "The Greatest Generation."
