Guilty As Charged, Tire Blowout

Oh safety is most crucual absolutely!...sorry I was taking it off topic a little..I was thinking of 'jackstands' (one word--and sometimes followed by the word 'racer') an old running joke/drama around here..

Thank God everyone is ok, @haywire 440. :praying:
A subject that hits close to home here as well - the BFG's on the GTX are at least 8 years old and
even with less than 1,000 actual miles on them, I am concerned about them.
How many years exactly IS safe with these things, anyways?
My wife has already given pre-approval for replacement BTW...

Good grief, y'all usually give me grief for not using any jackstands…. :)
(yeah, I know, it's my own damn fault of telling my "human jackstand" stories...)
Recently, I didn't catch any flack from anyone on FBBO for using these jackstands, however:

Y'all were probably relieved I was using any jackstands, but I guess this type is acceptable then?
Cute little ratcheting action on these that I quickly learned to turn away from where I'll be flailing about under
the car like a carp on shore... :)
Guess they're ok?

Glad no major damage happened, blowouts at speed are not for the faint of heart. Good choice on the BFG's, always had good luck with that brand.

Glad to see no major damage

there's a few Jack-stands threads here :poke:

I have read and yesterday reread those threads. Good analysis and debate. Like @beanhead said there were good jackstands racers matches/opinions. And I bought some yesterday.
