I am installing new roof rail weatherstrip on my 68 Sport Satellite, the old seal has a small triangle shaped core running down the center of the weatherstrip channel. The new seal that I bought from Classic (OER brand) does not have this core, and I don't see a part replacement for it anywhere. Are these just not required? Maybe it's not factory and a previous owner stuffed it in there? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
