Has anyone else noticed that they flipped the president’s head on the quarter?

I might better keep mine then

The new image has been updated. It's still George Washington just with a new look.

I wonder why all the changes to coins ?

It seems a bit of a waste, a bunch of retooling & stamping
a crop of new coins, when the stamps or presses/molds, or etchings designs,
all can be reused for a loooooong time...
Maybe (?)
unless they, do it for a commerative coin or for a bicentennial or NOW
the 250 year, since our Independence coming up,
or that people in the treasury just get bored & put a different person,
a different one of the founding fathers, or someone else a different pose
or a different significant person on the coins...
(it's like justifying their jobs at the mints)

just an observation

The U.S. Mint generates revenue by selling coins to the Federal Reserve Banks, selling numismatic products to the public, and selling bullion coins to authorized purchasers. These sales cover the costs of coin production, making the Mint a self-sustaining entity.

The Mint does not receive funding from taxpayer dollars; it is self-sustaining, meaning it relies on its own sales to cover expenses.

The UK had their coins re-modelled a few years back now - reduced them in size by around 50% - saving metals.

New Zealand also reduced the size of the coinage and dropped the one and two cent coins at the same time.

We also lost the one and two-dollar notes - they were getting to be worthless and very worn quickly.

....we're still waiting for the new money to come through with King Charles on. He might not live to see the day if his health doesn't improve.
