Has anyone made these manifolds work?

I'm doing a turbo engine and don't want/need headers as I need the space under the manifolds. 69 Coronet with manual steering and stock K member. Wondering if these might be a little better for power than the stock truck logs which I have fitted in the car.

My sons 360 (LA style) turbo car has been 9.55@142 using 1 7/8" outlet truck manifolds.
It doesn't take much manifold to work well.

My general thinking is the same, that the turbine itself is quite the restriction, but there are other viewpoints. I'm only looking for 700hp so maybe irrelevant.
