Have you done or seen any cool license plate projects?

My son has welded up some interesting metal odds and ends as gifts in the past. I got rid of most of my junk metal but I do have lots of licence plates from cars bought in the past. Any ideas?

I haven't put these on yet. The car is permanently in Arizona, but I haven't registered it here.
Shorter and wider than plates have been since 1955.

Washington State allows you to put the correct year plate on any classic (25 years or older) car and register it under that plate. Only the rear is required, although if you find a matched set you can put both on. There is a local guy that sells vintage plates and he sells the year correct tabs (he refurbishes them) too. It looks pretty cool! I got some for my ‘89 Blazer.

Not a plate but a frame. I saw this on the back of a Grand National and decided it was perfect for the Max! And yes it is Max's original plate.

Here's one that anybody can do. Two angled bends, 5 screws, 2x2 cut to length and a carved to fit stick.
