Have you noticed any new trends from SEMA?

I try to notice trends that show up in SEMA first. I remember the first wide body mod on a 2nd gen Trans Am I saw 10 years ago. I see lots of rich-brown, deep-glossy paint with tobacco brown leather interiors. I saw a '69 Camaro with what looked like steel wheels with poverty caps, both painted glossy black. It could have been an illusion with some weird custom wheels.

SEMA cars are always the most ridiculous looking machines built. Hideous may be a better word. Leave the classics classic looking. I wish everyone would quit putting their twist on trying to bring classic musclecars to look like something from the future. Lol.

A friend of mine that builds trucks has this one on display at the Scoggin Dickey Parts Center booth. Stoner's Speed Shop. ANother friend does his interiors. Boss Interiors.

All the vans have gone more aerodynamic / slippery with the hood front window shape. My camper top hung over the front window. The air came over the hood and hit the overhang, and that helped cause the Tukvan to wander about. So last winter I cut off a piece of the front. Lost a small amount of storage space and gained a better aero shape.

Facebook Blake (Stoner) is a cool guy. Young fella that started building rat rod trucks. (Patina) His business has grown into a new building, he employs a half dozen full time people and has sold trucks all over the world.
