I have a set of "Gemini" headers that supposedly came off of a 1960's era 383/440 motor. Wondering if they might fit my 1969 stock 383 motor. Is there some sort of measurement I could do that would give me an idea as to whether they will fit or not...the engine is currently in my 65 Coronet.

Those look like 383/440 flanges. Question is what application are they for? Kinda look like truck headers to me. I think Gemini became a Pacemaker Headers so you might want to Google that and see what they say.

Never mind, I took one side off and it turns out they do fit, bolted right in.....

But will the hood close!

It's what you have to do on second hand headers. Try to bolt them up and you'll see. I bought a used set off of a 68 plymouth and they bolted right in on a '64 Dodge I had. I have a nice set off of a 70 rr and they look like they will work on my '62. I'll have to wait and see on that one.

Good luck!

I can always put a couple more holes in the hood, but then I will have a sort of aerodynamic problem.....:)
But seriously, I don't know what they came off of other than it was a 383, tomorrow I will remove the starter and see if it will go in.

Someone else mentioned that they may have been on a truck.
