Hi, does anyone know how to adjust the headlight doors on 68-69 Chargers?
Thanks for your help.
Ed

Thats what l thought, but the left side comes down a little too much and doesn't match the center grille.
The right side matches perfectly.

Look closely at the doors and the housing the door fits into for broken plastic stops.

Is it the same as on a '70? On my Charger, the headlight doors have an adjuster screw that limits the rotation, and the screw end butts up against a rubber stopper when closed, like pnora said.

The adjuster screw is the silver one in the foreground, I had to install longer ones because the original screws let the doors go down too much and lined up below the grille.

70 is totally different than 68 and 69.

Thanks, good to know. I knew the move from vacuum-operated to electric motor was a major change, but didn't think the mechanical operation of the headlight door rotation would be that different.
