hey all.....
My heat riser was rebuilt when I restored my car
Thru miles of driving, it appears the bi-metal spring has come loose from the counterweight
I got under the car and reseated the spring into the slot on the counter weight
I checked the operation and everything seemed in order
I just took the car out again, and the spring has come loose again
Anyone else dealt with this?
I can obviously reseat it again, but want to FIX it

Thanks

Mark

I used JB Weld for this problem. Fill counter weight slot with JB Weld, place the spring in the slot and let stand over night so it hardens.
