It did make it a lot easier having the front seat removed.

Yes just be mindful when removing. That heater core is nice and full and will spill rad fluid all over the carpet! Control cables are just a push lock on the door arm and slip them off. 3 firewall nuts and that’s it.

Use a wet vac or suction pump and empty the heater core before dropping the box.

Just make sure that heater core is good/looked at before putting it back in. Also, take PICTURES to aide in putting back together

Agreed. I'm always impressed when someone puts that kind of effort into something that, frankly, nobody
is going to see.

How did you remove all the rust from the panels and parts? Evaporust? You did a great job on cleaning it up and I would like to make mine look as clean as yours came out.

Thanks, Yup evaporust was the ticket. My buddy turned me onto it. I wasn’t sure how to get it done but when I got the evapo it was crazy to watch it basically melt away. Lol

Well I was waiting on a new blower motor and the one from rock auto showed up wrong. The rubber vent tub didn’t line up. What a pisser, now I’m waiting on a used one off eBay

They all get lots of dirt. I was thinking about putting a cabin filter inside the air intake.

Id be concerned with it restricting the incoming airflow.
