heater control cable clips

hey guys. im working on my heating system in my 73 rr. i was wondering how the hell does the cables mount under the dash. i dont have any clips or anything but dont understand what mounts the outside cover so it doesnt move when the lever is pushed. does anyone have any pictures or anything of how the cables are clamped under the dash. thanks guys.

Not sure if they are the same as what the 69's used, but look at ebay item # 110761180762 these are the clips used to hold the cable ends.
BTW, that's not my ebay listing...you can probably find them cheaper.....but a good picture anyway.
