when i did my upgrade kit on my 69rr my heater hose nipple fit just fine but that could be since my nipple was for a 1/2" hose & if i remember correctly my bolt head wasnt a thick as yours.
you can also clock your ac compressor fittings to 9:00 or the pass fender as i had to do the same to clear the air grabber base & depending on what you got for hoses & charge ports you might have to get them remade at different angles to clear your distributer

Chooch thanks , that helps , now I know I can turn compressor, , I was thinkin they mite make some fitting that was long anuff to clear bracket?also I have a after maket radiator thats about 3 in larger , in short my radiator hose is to short,,,, it had one of the wrinkle hoses on it worked fine I guess , just dont look as good as a formed one,,,,

mine has different alt brackets & my heater is not hooked up yet but this is how my ac hoses are.

for what its worth my car is a original ac car so when i did the upgrade kit it eliminated all hoses that came from the drivers side inner fender & just has the pass side hard line & hoses from the compressor but i'm pretty sure the retrofit kit non factory ac cars have lines that go behind the battery & across. heres a crappy photo of while i was trying to figure everything out a few months ago.
btw if your car is a factory ac car you will need to use a 1/2" hose from your wp to the hcv.

Thanks for pictures big help,, chooch my car came with air ,but my line come from firwall passenger side,, looks like you have same set up as mine, my air grabber is suppose to be here today,, man I hope it fits, you've gave me some hope with picture I know now I can clear ac lines,,, now justhope hood will close, becouse Iv added a mopar wedge intake,,,

my lines come from the pass side also,I had to get a couple hoses remade & my charge port fittings moved back towards the firewall since I was having issues with them hitting the vac advance on the dist which wasn't a big deal since the napa store down the road could do it for me & the fittings are reusable. as for the hood clearance with the intake & ag you might be in for some headaches there.

Neat,,looks good chooch , well my breather came in and its not good,, hits the hoood,,, I seen a post , where a guy cut the base of the breather , and welded it , they cut looked like about 3/4 out,,,
Looks like its hitting the hood brace, in the back where the blinker are ,, can I cut that out?

personally I'd cut the base since it's easier & cheaper to replace if you mess it up, I wouldn't mess with the hood brace

image.jpgI cut and welded the base. Got it where the hood would shut the it hit the A/C compressor so while I was trimming the breather I also took the hole holes off.of the compressor I used a 4 grinder and a tigger paw disc then painted my breather Realy didn't want to grind on breather but guess it came out ok
