Hello and Welcome from CT. My stepdad also has an 89 Ram. His is a D100, also a 318 and auto. White and brown two tone. If it's an automatic, I would think it's a TorqueFlite.

It IS a TorqueFlite. Just not a 727 or 904 like we're used to on the old cars.
