my 73’ charger didn’t have the door springs in the doors when I got it. So the doors won’t stay open. These are the springs that are on the lower hinges. I have new springs but can’t figure out how to put them in. Any help would be much appreciated!

This may help. I’m on my phone, so I didn’t get a chance to fully review.

Do they look like these ?

These aftermarket springs tend to be too strong, and can make it difficult to close the door. Just my opinion, it would be better to invest the money in a full hinge replacement. Others may see it differently. I believe to install you will need to either remove the lower hinge or possibly punch out the pin holding the " flat bar" so you can get the spring behind it.

I rebuild door hinges for members. Member price for full rebuild of both doors is $200.00. plus shipping. That includes replacing all the parts except the main hinge body that bolts to the door and door frame.

I bought a replacement kit that looks similar to yours, don’t know if it’s good quality as yours. I just couldn’t figure out how the springs are installed. Thank you for the offer and If this kit doesn’t work out I’ll get you a holler.
