Hoping someone can help me identify some seat fabric.
The bucket seats in my 63 Plymouth Belvedere were reupholstered by previous owner.
One of the seams has let loose and I may need to redo the seat.
Trying to figure out what fabric was used. They claimed it was a Chrysler fabric.....not sure.
I know the fabric in there is not factory or original, but I really like the pattern and think it fits the car.
Anyway, hoping someone recognizes the fabric.
I don't want to have to reupholster all the seats, so if I know what it is out of then I may be able to order some more of it to do the one seat.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Scott
South Dakota.

I think I figured it out! 1977 Dodge Diplomat fabric appears to be a match to that in my 63 Plymouth.
Thanks everyone for your help!

Getting the original material is probably not possible. Post a pic of the part that needs stitching. An old furniture upholsterer may be able to hand stitch it for you. I have hand stitched the original upholstery on my van. I know how. Sorry no pics until 026

Thank you for your help.
I looked on there and have not found it yet. I will keep looking.
Don't just look on there, send them a photo and let them look. They haven't failed to match a Mopar OE fabric for me yet. You just have to request a sample. They have MUCH more than what's listed online!

Original is a problem for those that are trying to be original. I am not, so a fabric that pleases, will suit us fine. Meantime I have the original seat covers on my 77 van. They were not installed correctly.
